Welder/Fabricator – Dragline Bucket, Rigging & G.E.T.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

LCM Equipment Services is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Dragline Buckets, Rigging & G.E.T. Located in central Florida, our manufacturing, repair and rebuild facility easily services the state of Florida as well as the southeast US from this location. LCM also warehouses new inventory at this location to support our customers and their equipment. Staffed with design engineering, field service engineering and Non-Destructive Testing our employees find the assistance needed internally to support any project awarded us by our customers. Whether in the shop or in the field, LCM Equipment Services leads the way in service excellence that adds value.

 

Essential Duties & Requirements Include:

  • General knowledge of Dragline Buckets, Rigging & G.E.T.

  • Welding, Arc Gouging, Torch Cutting, Hardfacing, Stud Gun, Circular Saw


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Welding- pass weld test of 2G, 3G and 4G (Mig-flux core) (Mig and/or Stick)

  • Pass background check and drug test

  • Work overtime if required.

  • Valid driving license. Class A is a plus.

  • Extensive standing, walking, sitting, climbing, bending and twisting is required.

  • Will sometimes be working at elevated heights.

  • Ability to lift, push and pull 50 pounds.

  • Operate and Maintain tools and equipment.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Work areas include working on concrete, loose gravel, dirt/ mud, heights.

  • Standard PPE includes steel toe boots, long pants, long sleeved FR shirts, hard hat, welding and grinding shield, goggles, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves and metatarsal boots for specific sites.

 

Specifics:

  • Location- Lake Wales, FL

  • Day shift typically 7:am to 3:30pm. Overtime or variable schedule may be required due to project demand.

  • Night shift and minimal travel may be required for some projects.

  • Benefits available after 90 days Medical, dental & vision Insurance, vacation & holiday pay.

  • Pay based on experience and quality of work.
